ArchiFaçade is a simple yet powerful program that lets you transform a perspective distorted image into a front measurable image of the building.
It is based on the principles of projective geometry: by employing appropriate mathematical transfor-mations, the points making up the image deformed by prospective, are edited until the image appears straight.
The resulting image is of a façade-measured point by point. In addition, ArchiFaçade allows you to convert the photograph of a building or any other image into an ArchiCAD library element, meaning you can then insert it in a three-dimensional view to create a silhouette effect within the ArchiCAD photo rendering.
Use ArchiFaçade to:
• straighten angled photographs;
• obtain the graphical representation of a façade’s survey;
• create silhouettes to simulate architecture or recreate an existing architectural scene.
